Many garden type paths through well labeled native species of trees and shrubs, surrounded by woods and trails. Looks to have been an older small farm plot as with many of the properties in rural upstate. It's well maintained and there is much to learn, or just enjoy the environment this setting provides as a park. We left a small donation as they appear to do much work here with native plant species. Looking forward to learning more about what they do.

This arboretum is indeed magical this time of the year, with roses and peonies in full bloom. It has plenty of trails that is beginners’ friendly! Do not miss the overview from the meeting house!😇
There was no entry fee, however, donation at the entrance is encouraged.
Parking is in abundance. The red building with the painting of a butterfly has a washroom in it.

This was better than expected. The grounds are lovely. Many trails to observe all the plants and trees. The sculptures were cool. The meditation garden was a great place for our picnic lunch. Very much enjoyed walking the labyrinth.

Beautiful and scenic spot not too far from the Cap. Region. 30-40 mins from Albany. I wanted to bring my kids to see a botanical garden nearby, Landis Arboretum came up during my search. We went this week, so I think it’s a bit early still for all the real blooms. But it was still a beautiful place to visit and explore. A little muddy still but the open area, pavilion, and sculptures were fun to look at. We will be back when the weather gets a bit warmer! Also, bring snacks! There’s not a whole lot nearby and the town is quite small.
